Dear Fluent users:
Does anyone know if a 32bit FLUENT version (for Windows XP 32bit version) can run under a combination of Windows XP 64bit version with 64bit Intel CPU? Thank you in advance, Danny. |

Hi Danny
I have tried it with AMD 64-Bit, WinXP as OS, and it works fine. So, it should work with Intel, too. Vinod Dhiman |

You might face problems when loading your UDFs. As they will compile fine but probably into 64 bit libraries by default. Make sure that compilation flags in the Makefile are set to 32 bit.

Hello Again,
Thanks for your input. Anyway, I've asked Fluent the same question and their answers were a bit different. They do not support the use of 32bit Fluent 6.2 version on a 64bit CPU running Windows XP. Therefore they cannot assure us the credibility of the simulation results … Be noted … |
