Hi
I am trying to make my mesh in Gridgen and use it in Fluent 6.2.16. The geometry is a plain circular pipe, the domain is 6D where D is the diameter of the pipe. I want to give periodic boundary conditions on the circular face, but am not able to specify that either in Gridgen or Fluent. Can anyone give me some ideas on where I might be doing something wrong or if this is possible at all. Thanks. --Sowjanya |

Yes, you can do it in Fluent through text command. First you have to create periodic zone using grid->modify-zones->make-periodic and then you can define mass or pressure gradient periodic bc from bc panel.
Hope it helps! Dipak |
