Hi

I am trying to make my mesh in Gridgen and use it in Fluent 6.2.16. The geometry is a plain circular pipe, the domain is 6D where D is the diameter of the pipe. I want to give periodic boundary conditions on the circular face, but am not able to specify that either in Gridgen or Fluent.

Can anyone give me some ideas on where I might be doing something wrong or if this is possible at all.

Thanks.

Yes, you can do it in Fluent through text command. First you have to create periodic zone using grid->modify-zones->make-periodic and then you can define mass or pressure gradient periodic bc from bc panel.

Hope it helps!
