I've got a problem using the composition pdf model. I tried to simulate a combustion process of jet flame. But whatever I try, the flame is extinguished. I know that the composition pdf can also simulate local and global extinction, but velocities are too low to cause extinction. Even a piloted jet flame with flue gas of the pilot entering the domain at a temperature of 1880 K cannot stabilize the flame Did anyone have similar problems using the composition pdf model?
