Hi! Could you please tell me anybody how can I see the coordinate of the point that I defined in the cavity to get the Temperature Time Series of a specific point?

Dear Suvash:
In FLUENT go to display menu. then click on mouse buttons and turn prob on. Now click on any point in your mesh; you can see the coordinates in the FLUENT screen. Best Regards |

Hi Mehdi Thank you very much for your mail. But my question was different!! I think I could not explain my question properly.
Suppose I pick a point in the cavity like (0.2,0.1) and got the temperature time series on this point. But if I forget the coordinate of this point how can I see this. Note that I defined this point from Surface>point... Please help me.. Suvash |

Dear Suvash: You can see the coordinates using the manner described in the last message. However, if you mean that you have created a point and now, forgot the cooerdinates simply do followig steps: 1- Go to Display>Grid 2- Unselect all surfaces and then select your POINT 3- Click on Display button to display this point. 4- Now go to DIplay>Mouse buttons and turn probe ON. 5- Right click on the point in the shown grid(step 3) 6- The point coordinates in written in the FLUENT text interface
Hope to be right this time. COntact if I am still wrong. Best Regards Mehdi Ghoddosy |
