High Weissenberg Number Problem

hi all i have simulated a rotational rheometer (Mooney viscometer) with Fluent but in the output the torque is 30% different from the sperimental data, the model for the viscosity is the non-Newtonian power law the parameter obtained from capillary rheometer. The shear rate is too high at the edge of the rotor, then the Weissenberg number is too high and i think this is the problem... what you think about? Fluent give bad data when Weissenberg number is high?
sorry for my bad english. |
