Dear friends,
I'm trying to model the flow around a plunging naca 0012 airfoil (using udf to make a sinusoidal vel in and a source term.) but I can't get good convergence, suppose me some model (solver) for better convergence or a better way for simulation of flapping using fluent 6.0.12.(without moving mesh) Best |

Hi
I think a simple simulation can be done with inviscid incompressible flow. but about convergence, is your udf correct? Rajon |

Hi! how are you imposing velocity? With an adjust function or a profile function? What are changing by UDF? Luca

Hi luca,
I change velocity in velocity inlet with a priodic function and also I add a source term to momentum. my simulation Reynolds is about 10^6. as a first step in modeling I am trying to model edgewise oscillation (like this ← o â†'). so i have a udf that change the x velocity and add a term to x momentum. bye |
