I have to do a relatively simple piece of work for fluent - basically, I'm trying to generate a grid on s simple 3d surface using mapping, triangular paving a quadrilateral paving schemes. Does anyone have any advice on the quality and size of meshes to expect with these schemes? I have looked at the fluent online tutorials, but wanted to know if anyone else here has tried something similar.....

Also, I am trying to cluster the grid points at the wall boundaries for these schemes. Any advice on this would be pretty helpful too! I basically need to apply this in 2d and 3d, so any major differences would be helpful.

Many thanks for any newbie help here!
