Manolito Guest Posts: n/a	I am a new user of Fluent. I wonder why Fluent doesn´t compress case and data files by default. It´s about the half of size. Is there any disadvantage in compressing the files with gunzip?

khairy Guest Posts: n/a	no disadvantages, but using .gz is only for space on the hard disk
