Floating point error: divide by zero

Hello guys,
I just tried to load up and work with already existing *.dat files but every time I try to display contourplots for example, I get one of the following error messages: floating point error: divide by zero Error: FLUENT recieved a fatal signal (SEGMENTATION VIOLATION) I ran the simulation in Australia and had no problems on the Australian computers. Now I´m back in Germany, so I first supposed, it´s a setup problem, because English computers separate numbers with a point (.) and in Germany you separate with a comma (,). So I reset the setup without success. Maybe you guys have any recommendations? Chris |

Maybe something wrong with the driver of graphic card. There are some discusses about this in the forum. You can search in this forum. Also you can type: "fluent -driver msw" in the command window. Good luck!

Thanks for your help,
it was the graphic card driver indeed. There were several little subprogramms to increase the power and speed. Since I disabled all of them, I´m working without problems. Chris |
