how to use compiled udfs in fluent

hi friends im doing 2D modelling of suction and compresion strokes of an diesel engine with only centrally located valve (only one valve) im using fluent i wrote one udf but after compiling fluent is giving an error "nmake is not recognized as a command" can anybody tell me how to handle this

without the code it would be impossible to help you. unless somebody has come across such an error.

Dear tata
It does not have to do anything with the code. your computer is not configured to run complied udf. to run udf, you need to install service pack five http://msdn.microsoft.com/vstudio/do...p5/sp5_en.aspx and visual c++. You can run intreptuded UDF on your machine without these two packages but not possible to run complied UDF. If you go to fluent website, you find written procedure to fix this problem Thanks |
