Hello, I am using Fluent to study the flow of Non-Newtonian Fluid through pipe annulus. To verify my results (pressure drop over length of pipe)with analytical, at present I am using Fluid of density 800 kg/m^3 and Viscosity 1 kg/m-s. I got the results matching with analytical solution for 2D geometry in Gambit for concentric annulus only. But when I make the annulus eccentric the pressure drop is more than the concentric annulus(outer pipe is 2m in diameter50m long; inner pipe is 1 m in diameter and 50 m long; I am using offset of 0.1,0.2,0.3..from center). (In Gambit, first I am creating vertices and then edges--joining edges to creat rectangular face--then subtracting inner rectangle from outer retaining innner rectangle to get the annulus--meshing edges,faces--and specifying boundary conditions as VELOCITY INLET and PRESSURE OUTLET). I have tried to refine the mesh but couldn't get the answer. I also tried in 3D , but in 3D I couldn't even get the results matching with analytical for concentric annulus. I would appreciate it greatly if you can help me with this. Thank you very much for your time

Best Wishes, Parag
