Default Help vortex merging

Hello,

It is well known that vortices of like-sign will ultimately merge to form a single vortex.

I have a project about the simulation of two vortices merging. Is it possible to use Fluent to evaluate the merging process? If the answer is yes, how to do it? May I use 2 cylinders as the vortices generator, then use Fluent to solve the unsteady problem?

Thanks
