hi everyone,
I am M.Anjaneyulu doing M.Tech chemical engineering in IIT Bombay(INDIA). i have a problem regarding selection of model. my system is Solid solute(benzoic acid) cylinder is rotating in a bulk liquid phase (water) which is contained in the cylindrical vessel. gas sparging is done through the solid solute cylinder to enhance the mass transfer. objective is to find out the enhancement of mass transsfer by gas sparging. i completed modelling the system with out sparging (pure rotation) by species trasport. now i am dpoing modelling by gas sparging. please help me whether i can continue this by species transport or i have to go for multiphase model of discrete phase model. tell me if u know anythig about the limitations of species transport |
