Hello, We are trying to import a CGNS mesh with periodic boundaries into FLUENT. However, it seems that fluent is not able recognize periodic boundaries set in the CGNS file, and we are not allowed to set periodic boundaries in the pre-processor.
Does anyone know if there is a way to get around this problem ? Best regards, Bjarne |

Put wall in place of periodic boundaries in your CGNS mesh. Import it into fluent and then change wall into periodic boundaries

Hope you are still on this Forum. I met a problem about importing CGNS file into FLUENT but no Boundary Conditions can be recognized by FLUENT. I wrote this CGNS file by my own code, using CGNS AIP, such as: cg_coord_write(...); cg_boco_write(...); Thanks in advance! hope you can reply. Eric. |
