What's the units in UDF?

Hi, all
What is the units in the UDF? I need define a source term in Fluent. When I use some grid parameters, I wonder what the units it is ? Thanks for any help Erica |

Hi Erica,
I remember reading somewhere in the UDF manual that all units in UDF always have to be SI. shunahshep. |

In section 4.3.15, it is said that "the units on all source terms are of the form generation-rate/volume." A mass_source term will be in kg/m3-s. Energy source will be in J/m3-s. Have a nice day! Salutation, David
