How can I extract *.msh grid file from case (*.cas file). Please help me Y

If you have access to TGrid its simple. Simply load tha case file into the TGrid and then you should be able to write out the mesh file.

yes i always do so, as a general practice i make mesh in parts , merge them ..then read them in fluent ... then fuse the zones ... then save them as cas file ..and import it in gambit. it makes a nice single mesh ..i usually use this mesh for analysis

in gambit ..use import mesh, fluent5/6 ... select 3d mesh and then just import it

Thanks its working fine. Actually I have another problem I made grading of my mesh and exported it to mesh file And then I forget about what value or what type of grading I used when I imported this mesh file back in gambit to check then grading which I used. I could not see the value in fact I see the default option. How can I check what value and what type of grading I used. Y
