Hello Everyone
When I am trying to initialize the Fluent Solver, it gives me an error that states: ------------------------------------------------------ Warning: ST_Malloc: out of memory.malloc_storage: unable to malloc velocity SA, size 55859712, t 2, myid 1000000. Error: couldn't allocate fine level coefficient matrix Error Object: () ------------------------------------------------------ Have you encountered this problem anytime?? Is there something that I can do to avoid this?? I am using the DEFINE_PROFILE macro in my UDF. I have been running cases with the same conditions but different mesh sizes with success previously. I had tried sizes of 705186 and 1266606 elements previously. Now when I am trying to run the same simulation with about 2 million elements, it is giving me the above stated message. Please let me know, as to what can be done with regards to this. Thank you for your time Satish Perivilli |

what happens is that you are trying to run a case coupled explicit and your computer does not ahve enough vortual memory for that task. just run coupled implicit. that should work. i guess.
