Hello users,
When i simuate the problem with hydrofoil connected with hull(body) i get negative values of lift coefficient. On contrary to that when i run solution with the hydrofoil alone, i get positive value of lift coefficient. i use exactly the same reference values for both the analyses i.e. with & without the hull body interaction. B.C's are: velocity inlet wall body pressure outlet solution setup turbulence model -standard k-E model -S-A model default settings of monitors and control solution are used. hoping for an early response. Thanks |

Could be that the interference effect causes the local angle of attack at your airfoil to go negative?
Set your monitors down to 1e-5...default they are at 10e-3 so your solution may still be converging, and try running a 2nd order solution (if you don't expect unsteady flow) |
