lift calculation

hi,
any one can help me regarding reference values.As i want to calculate the lift produced by lifting bodies attached to submerged body.The problem is weather should i put surface area in reference values for only lifting bodies or for whole body. thanks in advance |

As they are called reference values it's up to you to decide what values to use. Luca
