The EDC model incorporates chemical kinetic effects into flames (as opposed to fast or equilibrium chemistry). You hence need a chemical mechanism. Chemkin is the standard format for chemical mechanisms, and Fluent allows you to import a Chemkin mechanism.

Do you know some Chemkin mechanism, with NOx prediction,
which properly works in case of flameless combustion? ARM19 is in Chemkin format or it shall be programmed in UDF?

hi,zxaar,I use the EDC model with methanol(it's mechanism includes 21 species,93reactions) and CH4(it's mechanism includes 53 species,over 300 reactions) to simulate an unsteady case,but encoutering some troubles,will you please send me some tutorials about EDC in FLUENT,my emails zhuoerbufan89@126.com .
