i wanna to simulate fluidized bed dryer in fluent.i have a vertical cylinder which have a perforated plate at down.wet solid enter to the cylinder at top of that and gas enter the cylinder from down(perforated plate).the gas passes through wet solid and fluidizes that.wetness of wet solid evaporates and enter to the gas.this process is continious. now,i dont know, who to use fluent for modelling of solid media(porous media).can fluent model both of the gas and solid?or can i use porouse media as a "source term" for gas governing equations? which version of the fluent can do that?and is there any tutorial for that?(fluidized bed) king regards
