i am using fluent to simulate the flow model in a kenics static mixer. do i need to combine all the mixing elements together with the pipe into 1 volume before meshing? coz i have tried meshing it when i combine everything together, but i just fail to mesh. now i divided into different volumes.

how to model a mixing process using water + ethyl glycol in fluent ?
