Hi I am doing my post graduation in water resource engineering. My project is to simulate a model of channel trap. I need to know about fluent software and its applicability in this problem. How to do multiphase modelling (partical tracking) in fluent?

hi glad to hear about use of Fluent in Water Resurce Engg. Well i am a civil engg ,and i did my BS Thesis on Sediment Modelling of Terbela Dam (Pakistan) i used a Software and some measured data. Well now i am using Fluent for modelling (not for sediment modelling and also not related to civil engg).
well as far as i know u can do it, but the meshing will be difficult and the calculation time will be enormous. did u get any assistance, and can u tell me about your university or country, and how is your work going, i am very courious. Best Wishes & Good Luck Jehanzeb |

Hi Jehanzeb! Thanks for the suggestion.I m doing multiphase modelling in sediment movement in convenence system with the help of CFD(Fluent software). I m a M.Tech student of IITBombay India.Right now i m doing CFD modelling of sewer sediment trapping for my M.Tech final desertation(thesis). thanks Thinlas

I have a problem of scale in geometry, I have a blade which scrapes a surface, I am interested to space on blade-wall, a dimensions of a space blade-wall and of the other part of geometry it's ratio of 1000, I can do it. Thank you.
