Modelling free surface waves with wave parameters

Hi,
I have been working on this particular title "Free surface waves with wave parameters". Using VOF Model, I have accomplished modelling a wave form in a simple 2D rectangular shaped tank that 0.75 of it is filled with water. But I can't form the wave with its exact parameters such as wavelength, velocity etc... I need to find a way to form "regular" waves just like the sea shores but at this point all I get is kind of irregular water movement. Does any one knows how to model this particular subject or compute the wave parameters I have already modeled? Thanks for helping...Good day... |
