How to model incompressible flow using Fluent code? I have select the "water" material for the fluid domain. Does anything else needed to be done?

Hi; If you choose "constant" option for density in material panel, this means thay you assume an incompressible flow. best regards ROOZBEH

Hello, the only way to model compressible liquids in 6.1 is by defining your own routine in a udf (enabling the energy equation doesn't help you since that solves the ideal gas law). Release 6.2 should tackle this problem better. You may also see older postings concerning this topic via the search function.

May I ask what kind of flow problem you are trying to solve?

Sorry, but I don't understand your question. My comment was in respect to the original posting of 'luckyluke'. If I remember right, he/she has been selecting water as the fluid in question...
