Friends,
I am simulating a 3d pipe flow. The pipe is inclined at angle say 30 degrees about the x axis, which is the rotation axis of the pipe. When I view the normal components at a cross-section in the cartesian and cylindrical coordiante systems, it looks different. Can I expect the flow patters formed by these normal components to be similar in both corodinate systems? Is this correct. I personally feel taht the patterns must remain the same in whichever co-ordinate system we view the plots! Anyway i require an answer from your side. Kindly help me out. Thanks |
