Dear all, Has anybody tried to use the rotating disk described in White's textbook to test Fluent's ability to model swirling flow? My results are not consistant with the theoretical solutions. Any thoughts? thanks. My model: (1) axisymmetric swirl, (2) radius is 1 m, height 10 m (3) segerated laminar steady (4) ratational moving wall for the disk (5) top surface and side surface are "pressure_outlet"

if using much finer mesh, the results are close to the theoretical results. However, the velocities of corners and axial velocity at the outer surface still messed up. I guess I have to use much finer mesh to correct them.
