Floating point error

Default Floating point error

hi, i installed Fluent6 in my PC. When i used the Display in Fluent solver to display the computed results, the following error msg are shown: Error: Floating point error: divided by zero Error object: ().

If you know the reasons, please e-mail me.

One of the reason is because of improper boundary conditions and sometimes if you are starting the solution again it will not come.

Check your boundary conditions again.

It is a problem of your graphic card. I had the same problem with my laptop. Ive got a ATI RADEON 9600 and I had to do the following:

If you are using Windows, try to decrease the hardware grafic acceleration of the sistem: Control Panel -> Display -> Settings -> Advanced -> Diagnostic -> Move the acceleration hardware cursor in the center of the graded scale.

NB: this is the english traduction of a Windows XP italian sistem, but it isn't too different from the other versions.
