Floating point error

hi, i installed Fluent6 in my PC. When i used the Display in Fluent solver to display the computed results, the following error msg are shown: Error: Floating point error: divided by zero Error object: ().

One of the reason is because of improper boundary conditions and sometimes if you are starting the solution again it will not come.

It is a problem of your graphic card. I had the same problem with my laptop. Ive got a ATI RADEON 9600 and I had to do the following:
If you are using Windows, try to decrease the hardware grafic acceleration of the sistem: Control Panel -> Display -> Settings -> Advanced -> Diagnostic -> Move the acceleration hardware cursor in the center of the graded scale. NB: this is the english traduction of a Windows XP italian sistem, but it isn't too different from the other versions. Bye Rubén |
