UDF compile error -- CFD Online Discussion Forums

October 16, 2004, 14:59	UDF compile error	#1
Steve Guest Posts: n/a	Hi, I'm trying to use a random number generator in my UDF. I'm using the rand() function. When I compile the UDF I get this error "prototypes must appear outside the function body" Does anyone know anything about this error? Or has anyone used random number generators in a UDF? Thanks in advance, Steve
