Hi!! I want to save a gambit file (.dbs) as a compressed form using gunzip (.dbs.gz). In Fluent I have saved the case and data files successfully, writing "file-name.cas.gz" But it does not work in Gambit. Does anybody know about it?

Gambit doesn't support that kind of save file, as far as I know. But after you save in .dbs, you can easily convert it to .dbs.gz by using the gzip command in unix system. Hope that can help you.

No problem, you're welcome. For the DEFINE_GRID_MOTION, I haven't used it before so I cannot give you any help on that. Hope you can find the solution for your self soon. Actually I'm also new to Fluent, I have come to this forum quite sometime and tried to find the solution for my problem but I didn't get any. I have to solve my problem on my own. It's very interesting that we have somebody to talk to eventhough he/she doesn' help you much right hihi. Hope to see u frequently in this forum.
