DPM velocity at cell face

Dear all! I have a problem where I would need to calculate the flux of electric charge attached to DPM through the faces of a cell . In order to do that, I would need the entering and/or exiting velocity of the particle to/from a cell and assigning these values to the corresponding face by e.g. a F_UDMI variable. It is relatively easy to obtain the entering velocity vector by P_VEL0(p), however it is not very easy to assign it to the corresponding face. Do you know how to identify (retreive) the face where the paticle enters and leaves the cell? Could anybody help on how to do that? Regards, Szabolcs

Your work is interesting and significative . I want to obtain the particle velocity of the cell by means of this method. But i have not been familiar with the UDF in Fluent, so i look forward to solving this difficulty by some proficient friend.
