Hi Guys

I am currently using Fluent to compute an aircraft flow field. May i ask how do you use fluent to get estimates for the dynamic stability derivatives for an aircraft?

Regards JOn

You are going into new grounds since Fluent is not reknwned for its aerodynamic accuracy. You are more likely to get better results from other CFD packages, i.e CFX.

I am trying to model a Mach 2 flow across a 6% open area perforated plate in 2-D FLUENT but am having trouble with the permeability, porous medium thickness and the pressure jump co-efficient, any ideas on how to approach this or what values i should be using would be greatly appreciated
