Hi,
The gambit 2.1.6 stopped working on one of my simple step files which contains two edges for an airfoil geometry, the step file worked fine with 2.0.4. Does anybody have any idea on any changes made to the Gambit? Thanks Wenbin |

Just a thought, if you have imported the step file into Gambit 2.1.6 fresh you may find that one of your two edges has been duplicated on top of one another. Go into 'delete edge' and read the yellow selection window as you click over the same line twice to see if another edge number appears. If it does, select the second one to appear and delete it. I have found that with complex 2D step imports this problem can cause wireframes to become unreadable files for no apparent reason. Perhaps someone else has had similar or can confirm / deny the above??

Hi,
I do have that problem with 3D, instead of 1 volume, it gives me 2 volume on top of each other. Just delete the similar features, it should solve your problem. patrick |
