hi everybody!
i want to run a simulation at a unix computer via secure shell. the file should run a couple of iterations with the laminar model, switch to k-e model, do some iterations again and finally switch to rsm-model. i have a batch file that includes commands for reading the cas file, changing the model and writing the file after finished. i have detected that the simulation will only work corret if i add commands to enable the residual checkboxes after switching the turbulence model. otherwise the calculation will switch to the next model after some iteration (when reaching the convergence criterion). there are no specific commands for disabeling the checkboxes in the fluent 6.1 text command list. when writing a journalfile the information "CheckButton" and the number of the button is given. can somebody help me? zago |

Haai, This is possible in Fluent. First you go to solve - monitors-residual-check-convergence?. After this command it will ask like this
/solve/monitors/residual> check-convergence Check convergence of continuity residuals? [yes] no Check convergence of x-velocity residuals? [yes] no Check convergence of y-velocity residuals? [yes] no Check convergence of z-velocity residuals? [yes] no Check convergence of energy residuals? [yes] no Check convergence of nut residuals? [yes] no If you are giving "no" means it will deselect and yes means it will select. So, in your batch file you type the first command from above list and type 'y' or 'n' in your batch file as a next command to select or deselect respectively. I hope it should work. |
