Is it possible to import an Autocad drawing (i.e. geometry) into Gambit and then mesh it?

Yes. In AutoCAD you must create a geometry consisting of faces/solid volumes and then export an ACIS or IGES file, which Gambit will then import. Take care that your version of AutoCAD exports ACIS files that match Gambit's.
