Hi
Does anyone have any idea about the Stiff Chemistry Solver in Fluent? When I do Finite Rate Kinetics I have to use very low time steps. Does the Stiff Chemistry solver help me increase the timesteps? Thank you in advance. Arun |

Fluent 6.1 has a stiff chemistry solver for the coupled implicit solver. Fluent 6.2 has a stiff chemistry solver for the segregated solver. This uses ISAT and would certainly be the preferred approach for low speed flows.

Thanks for the information. Does preferred mean that it is not possible to do High speed flows (Mach >2)?
