If the fluid flows with a subsonic speed at the first contraction, then with a supersonic flow at the second contraction, what kind of solver setting is better for this kind of case?

Thanks a lot!

Hi; Generally coupled solver is proposed to solve a compressible flows. I use this sover to simulate the flow in a converging-diverging nozzel. To capture shock with a good sharpness, use a second order upwind scheme to discretize convective terms.

Thank you very much for your message! Normally, you use couple/implicit or couple/explicit? Thanks again!

Hi; I use couple/explicit to turn on multigrid tecnique to increase rate of convergence.
