RTD in Fluent

Hi, I am trying to determine Residence Time Distribution (RTD) in Fluent 6.1. I know there are a couple of methods for doing it, one measuring the concentration of an injected non-reactive mass (tracer) and the other by tracking a number of neutrally bouyant particles in a non-steady simulation. What is the numerical model usually used in this case, and how is implemented in Fluent (i.e., which are the steps). Is there any good tutorial or reference that I can use as a guide?.
Thanks for your help on this, Rodrigo |
