Hi all, I have a film (fully developed) for which i have already solved for underlying hydrodynamics. It is 2 phase flow( air-primary phase and fluid secondary phase). Now i want to solve energy equation. The maximum and minimum temperatures of wall are 450 and 300 K.I am using vof model And it i am calculating for steady flow. After few iterations I found stange value of temperatutes more than maximun temperature. If any one have the idea abt this unexpected temperatures. .... kethireddy

Hello Kethireddy
Please try to limit the temperature to 450 and 300 K by going to Solve->Limits, fix the max and min temp. Else you can adjust the Energy values of the Underrelaxation factors in solve-> controls Tell me if it helps, Regards Karthick |

Hi thanks for reply.I am interested in seeing temperatuture distibution.i dont want to force temperature to be changed. Then it will be diffficult to predict temperature distribution. I have infact played with under relaxaton factors. No use. any way thanks for email....kethireddy
