Urgent: water evaporation

Dear all, My CFD simulation case is a indoor swimming pool. The air containing water vapour humidity from ventilation system flows into the swimming building. So the water evaporation rate from water pool and the humidity distibution can be obtained. Which model will be the good to simulate this case, VOF or discrete phase model or the others. I need your help.
Thank you very much. |

A VOF model to simulate you water surface and Scalar (UDS) symbolizing the air humidity seems to be the best solution.
hope this help. Thomas |

why not to use the mixture template with h2o and air as the mixture ? i have no experience doing this but I will certainly like to hear some comments from people who have modeled relative humidity of air.
one more interesting question ! : how to consider the condensation of water vapor on some of the surfaces inside the room ? may be use of UDF with partial pressure relations? some enlightenment will be highly appreciated ! |
