HI, I am using the VOF model for air and water mixture. I picked up this example from the Fluent Tutorial. After importing the mesh when I go for defining the materials, it automatically takes Aluminium as solid. I don't have aluminium in my model. I tried to delete it but it says "it can not be deleted because it is used as mixture in porous media" . I don't understand how does it take all these "porous media" , "aluminium" automatically. I would really appreciate if someone can help me in this problem.
Thanks a lot Tonmoy. |

create a new solid some abc -- go to your porous zone -- use abc as your solid material for your porous zone -- now come back to materials -- delete aluminum
