Hello Everyone,
I am doing a project on biomass downdraft gasifier. I want to know whether the approach given in the FLUENT tutorial is sufficient to model a 3D gasifier and reaction mechanisms?. I am using PrePDF for mixture variance calculation. Also i want to know whether the problem should be run in 2 stage or in a single stage. Anybody aware of this one kindly reply me. |

hello sudakar
I am also trying to do CFD analysis of Gasifier. But the problem is that I cannot able to model both fluidisation as well as combustion. So what I am doing is doing it separately in two models and trying to combine the velocity vectors of combustion model fluidisation model. Am I right? Or can u tell me any other ways of modeling the gasifier taking into both fluidisation and combustion at the same time. Regards Karthick |
