hello, friends,

i am using solidification/melting modules of fluent for solving freezing problem , my problem is of unsteady state, my problem is that i am unable to incorporate the physical property such as thermal conductivity and specific heat as temperature dependent, any body having having slution for the same , let me no.

thanks in advance . with regards kishore

Hi,

Fluent is able to define both properties as a temperature function. Piecewise-linear and piecewise-polynomial, polynomial are default function. Check the pull down menu in DEFINE-MATERIAL-Cp, and thermal conductivity.

Thank you

FJ
