Hi!

I'm not shure what you are asking. If you don't know how to write an udf, you should first read Fluent UDF documentation to get the idea what you can do with udfs. There is a lot of examples, tutorials and other usefull stuff to read.

If you allready have a udf and don't know how to put it Fluent you should go to Define-User Define-functions-iterpreted...then you select your function and it becomes a part of Fluent. If you (for example) make a udf velocity you have to select your function at velocity inlet bc... but read the manual for more info.

Why do you need a udf? Usually (for simpler simualtions) you don't need to use it.

Hi mateus, Thank you for your comment. My boundary conditions depend on Grashof number and I have to specify it, do I need to use UDF? If so,please tell me should I do anything for install this part of fluent? Thank you

Hi!

If I understand correctly you want to calculete the grashoff number from a converged solution (you take the temperature and velocity) and then use the result in some equation that defines the new bounary condition. Am I right.

I think you can do this with an udf. Check out the documentation, for example:

hi

should I have mesh independent results for publishing?

for example I want to compare The nusselt numbers

with previuos works,

Is it important that they wouldn't change with grid

size?
