hi,
I'm doing an axisymmetric simulation. How to change the axis from x to y and vice versa in order to put the x direction as the axis? I've changed it in Gambit but there are now 2 coordinate systems and Fluent considers the first one as the reference. How to change it in order to make a vertical axisymmetric simlation? thank you David |

Fluent only accepts x-axis as the symmetric axis for axisymmetric simulation, otherwise zero-cell error will appear in grid checking. You can view the results from horizontal to vertical in Display -> View -> Camera. You can set the rotation and get the correct display for your contour. Actually you can save this setting. It is very easy.
