high difference between cell and nodal values

Recently i have completed a thermal analysis. while looking at the results, i found that there is huge difference in the results between the nodal and cell values of temperatures(around 40 degrees). What could be the mistake?. Is it the problem with the grid such as aspect ratio or skewness or something? Can anyone help me?? Thanks in advance Trilok

Hi Trilok , Have you checked for grid convergence ? ( running the analysis for a finer mesh ) Have you checked for the total heat flux flowing in and out ? Let us know , what was wrong when you figure it out . Regards, Ajay

This is a very very complex domain. so mesh check is not that much easy...i am sure that this problem can be overcome by with a finer mesh. For a similar kind of problem and with same mesh size i used to get a very less difference between nodal and cell values. This problem has occured with the current model only.coming to heat flux, mine is a radiation problem and it interacts with surrounding air also..so not possible to check heat flux... Thankyou for your help
