Hallo all, can anybody tell me if it is possible to simulate multiphase flow with mass transfer (any kind of multiphase flow, dropwise or film flow..etc.) with FLUENT and how? Should we use USFs to do this or what? I would like to get an idea about that. best regards and thanks Ataki

Yeah ATAKI, Its possible. You can enable mass transfer in the interface panel, which enabled as phase interaction in phases description panel. mass transfer can be given as constant mass transfer or variable mass transfer through UDF. see title 4.4.2 DEFINE_EXCHANGE_PROPERTY in the UDF help in Fluent 6.1 documentation.

with regards prasanth
