again on udf surface reaction

I tried to copy the sample udf in manual (UDF 4.3.9 for Fluent 6.0). There are several errors and I can only figure out couple of them.

1. ahhrenius_rate function returns real, but inside function pow() return double, it can be solved by define a template real variable

2. in "DEFINE_SR_RATE" section, always error: thread store: undeclared variable

3. in "contact_area" section, it appears error: non-integer subscript express: unsigned char on the line of " c_face_loop(c, t, i)" So, what is contact_area function using. It has never been called in UDF?
