Hi,

does anyone know how to plot a temperature profile during the calculation?

I tried to use the plot command in the execute commands menu but it doesnt work.I know how to display a temperature contours this way but not how to plot it. I believe it should be straightforward, hopefully.

The example on Fluent 6.0 Tutorial Chap. 15 (VOF Model) Sec. 7 describes how to plot the variation of 'axial velocity' during iteration. I think, you can use the same logic to get the temperature plot, if you would like to monitor the temperature at a point during simulation.

However, it gives me a temperature plot in function of time when i want to get a temperature profile evolution during the iterations to see the influence of difference parameters I want to change.

I just found out i have to use animate functions which is very interactive and gives a lot of functions.

Concerning your problem with hollow spray I'm not sure, I have used DPM models but not spray but maybe you have to set your injection points on surface as you might have set it/them on the crown of your injector.

I might use this model later on, so if you didnt find or didn't get a proper answer and i get a clear answer I will let you know.

i made a geometry of 2d flow between parallel plates. from graphics and animation i want to draw contour between temperature and total temperature. but it is not showing on the other hand velocity and stream function is showing clearly. can any tell me how i can plot total temperature profile
