hi, i want to know that in coupled solver the equations are solved simultaneously what its advantage over segregated solver.when to use which slover. nabeel

The segregated solver requires less memory than the coupled solver. However coupled solver is better for high speed aerodynamics. If your flow is not of high speed aerodynamics, then the segregated solver should work fine. Why exactly: I don't know. We would probably have to spend time on the mathematics.

Usually the segregated solver is more robust and gives less convergence problems.
